TEHRAN — In recognition of National Doctor’s Day, a prominent ceremony titled “The Grand Conference of Iran’s Health Luminaries” was held on August 21, 2026. Organized by the Medical Council of Iran in collaboration with the Tehran Municipality, the event celebrated distinguished physicians at the Milad Tower conference hall, featuring public acknowledgments through billboards across Tehran.
The 64th annual Alborz Prize ceremony convened on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Shahid Beheshti University’s International Conference Center, recognizing 58 distinguished individuals for their significant contributions to science and innovation. The event was attended by prominent officials, including First Vice President Dr. Mohammad Reza Aref, alongside leaders from the Endowment and Charitable Affairs Organization, the National Elites Foundation, and various academic institutions.
On the occasion of commemorating Research Month and coinciding with the arrival of Yalda Night, a ceremony was held on 30 Azar 1404 (December 21, 2025) with the participation of the staff of the Isfahan Cardiovascular Research Institute. This biennial award is one of the WHL’s highest international honors, given to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the prevention and control of hypertension at global, regional, or national levels.
