First Regional Webinar on Lifestyle Medicine (LSM)

The Cardiovascular Research Institute (Isfahan Cardiovascular Research Center), in collaboration with international and regional organizations,  hosted the first session of a two-day  educational  webinar in the EMRO region  on June 16, titled: "The Role of Lifestyle Medicine in Treatment, Regression, and Prevention of NCDs".

The  webinar  aimed to raise awareness among faculty members and support the development of academic programs in Lifestyle Medicine across the EMRO region. In this program, the President and Advisor of the NCD Alliance in the EMRO region, alongside distinguished speakers from universities in the United States, Canada, Jordan, and Malaysia introduced Lifestyle Medicine (LSM) and its components, explained the role of this science in non-communicable diseases, and presented successful models from similar centers and institutions around the world. The second session of this webinar is scheduled to take place on July 9, 2025.
