Isfahan Cardiovascular Research Institute
Following the approval of the Ministry of Health (MoH) in 1993, Isfahan Cardiovascular Research Center (ICRC) was established with the aim of performing research on cardiovascular diseases (CVD) primary, secondary prevention and health promotion. In 2003, ICRC became a World Health Organization (WHO) collaborating center for research and training in CVD prevention, management and control as well as rehabilitation of cardiac patients in the Eastern Mediterranean Region. In 2011, the center was promoted to an institute (ICRI) by the MoH.
The main fields of research in ICRI are public health, clinical and basic sciences. The institute has performed, and is currently performing, numerous large-scale community-based preventive programs, cohort studies, CVD registry, and randomized clinical trials at local or international levels. The institute offers PhD, fellowship, clinical scientist, and sabbatical research programs. The National Cardiovascular Network Secretariat is located in ICRI since its establishment in 2011.

Simultaneously with World Heart Day 2017, Isfahan Cardiovascular Research Institute in collaboration with different national & international organization & NGOs including: Iranian Heart Association(IHA),World Heart Federation(WHF), Heart Friends Association(HFA), Isfahan Municipality, Hospitals of the city, Health Centers, Food Industrials,… held this ceremony in Isfahan.

According to a report by the Iranian Scientific Information Center, two articles of the Isfahan Cardiovascular Research Institute (ICRI) were among the top 100 scientific articles of the Altometric ranking in 2017.

World Hypertension Day 2017

In World Hypertension Day 2017, The HTN Research Centre related to Isfahan Cardiovascular Research Institute of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences Iran, has measured blood pressure of 1001 individuals referring to clinics related to this research Centre.

PROVE in Isfahan Was selected as the country's successful registration record

Persian Registry of Cardiovascular Diseases Program (PROVE) in Isfahan was recognized as a successful registration Model in the Islamic Republic of Iran at the first International Congress on Illnesses and Health Outcomes, which was held from May 26 to 28 in Mashhad, and received appreciation letter of the congress and statue.
